Some say life is a theatrical play,
we all have parts to act out and we play different roles...
But then I wonder, isn't it hard if you have to play a role you don't like?
What if you got the hardest part to play, or maybe you're just a tree
and you wish you could do more?
Others say life is a roller coaster,
you go through ups and downs, and sometimes it can be a thrill
while other times, it can make you sick.
But how do you get off without hurting yourself?
Another person might say life is a journey,
that enjoying the process is just as nice as getting to the destination,
that journeying with others is better than journeying alone.
But if you don't have a map, won't you get lost?
I could go on and on with metaphors,
and the truth is, we can't describe life in one perfect image
and think that from that image we can get all the answers.
In fact, life is more like a mystery
and if you read detective stories you'll know that
it might not be what you expect it to be.
Even if you were the detective you'd be put in danger
and sometimes it's not until you get to know your Enemy
that you start to figure it out.
You start to figure out that the Enemy wants to make your play a tragedy
by making people rebel against the Director,
saying they don't like the part they're given.
You start to figure out that the Enemy wants to deceive you,
make you think that the roller coaster will kill you,
instead of letting you enjoy the ride,
when actually, the Ride Operator actually cares about your safety
and would slow the ride down to a stop when it's the right time.
You start to figure out that the Enemy wants to blind you,
to make you think you're alone
when there are people there for you...
and there is a Holy Map available.
Mystery unraveling?
Case still open.
